I was in a Tae-Kwon-Do camp back in my poly days and we were out in the "scouts campsite" for a training camp (i was a green tip btw, till i broke my nail in one of the combats). One night, we went for a short hike and i was walking with one of my instructor and he asked if i know how to find my way out in a forest this dark. I told him i'll wait till morning when the sun is up then i'll try find my way out. He laughed and pointed into the sky. He was like Russell Crowe in "A Beautiful Mind" and showed me this star constellation in the sky known as the "Orion Belt".

It's a 7 stars combination that supposed points to the north and south (according to him). If you see carefully, one of the star is red, and the other is blue (which each correspondingly points to the north and the other south). But in Singapore, we can only get to see the 5 stars that forms a cross due to the bright city lights. He told us its a good way to find our way out of a dark forest or jungle without using a compass or waiting till the sun rise.

It was then, i had a tendency to search for this particular cross in the night sky whenever i had the chance.

Maybe i was desperate for direction or maybe i need to know where i'm heading.

i was feeling hungry just now and wanted to walk to canteen A's vending machine for a temporary solution. Thus i came upon the night sky for awhile and saw the orion belt.

I was amazed by God's divine architecture that he placed in the stars a constellation that tells us where were are heading.

So when u look at the night sky again, why not look out for this divine cross and ask yourself where are you heading? ;)
