I was out today, having my haircut.

I realised i was rather early for my appointment, so i sat at a nearby bustop. Then something interesting happened:


*Old lady came sit beside me*

Old Lady: Ah boy arh, %@^&^*&@*^% (hokkien) .........

Me: *stares blankly back*

Old Lady: *in mandarin* You got see my two grandchildren or not? Taking bus?

Me: *how the hell would i know who ur grandchildren is!?!* Eh... i don't think so.

Old Lady: Orh... I saw the bus coming, they so fast gone? .......*mutters*..... ^$%@$*&*&(&

Me: *awkward silence*

Old Lady: Boy arh, you secondary school, poly or ITE?

Me: *annoyed* University.

Old Lady: *eyes widen* Wha.. You know arh... Now govt raised university sch fees, and raised taxes.... *mutters*.... $%^$%^&%^&*


God answered my prayer when a malay dude sat in between us, which rendered proper communication between me and the Old Lady practically impossible and awkward.

She got off and left.

You don't have to be a genuis to guess why her grandchildren is out of sight.
